We need new seats!
How can you get involved?
We currently have great seating at first glance, but as we have this serviced and checked annually to ensure safety to our users, we have been told that our seating in now is heading towards the end of its life. The seats are uncomfortable to sit on due to their age and we are unable to use four as they are broken. This retractable seating is operated manually and involves a lot of people power to pull out and put away.
The importance to our community to upgrade the seating is huge, as it is vital for audiences across the arts and theatre experiences that we offer and for learning events.
We have raised locally over £30,000 and we are applying to The Arts Council England to support us in our project. We have still some more money to raise so please keep a look out for our future fundraising events!
So far, we have had head shaves, legs being waxed, memorial donations, bingo nights, table top sales, charity concerts, Christmas Wreath Making events, cream teas, band concerts, garden parties and lots more.
